Father Kyle announces "A Year of the Holy Eucharist"
Dear friends, there is nothing else in this life more important, more life-giving, and more essential than the Most Holy Eucharist. In order to help us grow in faith, hope, and charity; in order that we might all experience a revival and renewal of our Eucharistic faith, I am announcing a YEAR OF THE HOLY EUCHARIST beginning Sunday, June 19 - the Solemnity of Corpus Christi. For the next year, we will reclaim and increase our Eucharistic piety and devotion in our parish. In concrete ways, we will strive to see everything that we do in the parish - ministry, outreach, upkeep, literally everything - as pointing towards and flowing from the Holy Eucharist. And we will be focusing on a number of important endeavors, such as:
Offering Eucharistic formation, both intellectual and spiritual, for all parishioners
Reviving all ministries that serve/are ordered towards the celebration of the Eucharist;
Increasing opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration and devotions;
Enriching the celebration of Mass;
Revitalizing and enhancing Eucharistic ministry to the sick and homebound;
Making Eucharistic evangelization our top priority in all outreach efforts
During this year, I am asking every member of our parish to make this a priority in their own lives - to think about, pray on, and act towards the fulfillment of our goal: a deeper love of Christ in the Eucharist. Together, let us throw ourselves down before our Eucharistic King and ask that He renew us, our parish, and the whole world with His Eucharistic Presence!
