A FESTIVAL OFLessons and CarolsJoin us for a beautiful evening of Scripture and music (featuring our joint parish choirs, our UMaine student choir, and area musicians) that dates to the late 19th century in England, where we listen to several Scripture readings (“lessons”) that recount the Fall, the promise of the Messiah, and the Incarnation. Each reading is followed by a carol/hymn/song that reflects on the lesson’s message and then a brief prayer.
