Holy Family was established in 1992 when St. Joseph's parish (the current building) and St. Mary's parish were merged into one.
The current campus includes the former St. Joseph's school, which now houses the parish hall, food pantry, and various other functions. The campus also includes a former convent, now used as the Holy Family Thrift Shop.

(Please note: the Newman Center is currently closed for renovations, with an anticipated re-opening for the Fall of 2024. The 11:00 am Sunday Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family in Old Town during this time.)
Established as a Newman Center in 1946, it eventually was rededicated with a new building in 1969 under the patronage of Mary, Our Lady of Wisdom. While a church of the parish itself, its primary function serves as a Newman Center for college students - a place of relaxation, studying, prayer, and formation for young adults in the area.
Currently, there is a capital campaign to rebuild this church. If you would like to support the campaign, please visit the Black Bear Catholic website below.

One of the oldest churches in New England, the current building was constructed around 1830 and has been ministering to the Penobscot tribe since its founding.
St. Ann's was originally a mission site established in 1668 by a French missionary named Louis-Pierre Thury. In 1702, the mission was transferred to the French Jesuits, who maintained a permanent presence until 1792, when construction of the second building was started. After the current church was built around 1830, and the site became its own parish with a full-time priest in 1926.
Established in 1934 and consecrated in 1935, St. Ann's Bradley eventually came into the parish much later. The beautiful and quaint church has served the people of Bradley, Milford, and the surrounding areas ever since.
